The differences between Joe Biden and left-wing Democrats

How would a potential left-wing challenger look like in the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination?

Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States was historic in many ways. Not only is he the oldest person to ever hold the office, but he also represents a different faction of the Democratic Party compared to the more left-wing members as former President, such as Barack Obama.

While Democrats ultimately came together to defeat Donald Trump and the conservatives, there are still significant differences between Biden and his more progressive colleagues.

Moderation or radicalism

One of the biggest differences between Biden and left-wing Democrats is their approach to policy. While both share a desire to address issues such as climate change, income inequality, and healthcare reform, they differ in their strategies for achieving those goals. Biden, a self-proclaimed moderate, has historically favored incremental change, while left-wing Democrats have advocated for more radical solutions.
