China is unlikely to win the tech war with the US

The ongoing tensions between the two countries could have a significant impact on the future of the tech industry.

The China-US tech war is a complex and ongoing issue that has been fueled by a number of factors, including trade tensions, national security concerns, and geopolitical competition. The US has accused China of unfair trade practices, including intellectual property theft and forced technology transfers, while China has accused the US of trying to contain its rise as a global superpower.

In recent years, the US has taken a number of actions against Chinese tech companies, including sanctions, export controls, and restrictions on government contracts. On April 25, 2023, a group of Republican senators on Tuesday urged the Biden administration to “use all available tools” to sanction cloud computing firms with links to China. This is a strong Congressional push to the administration since its last tech sanction on China in October 2022, which limits on sales of new semiconductors to China in order to slow down the Chinese tech sector.
